An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Key Book Still (Learn More) Gregory Peck was an actor from the 1940s to the 1990s. He was one of the most popular leading men from the mid-1940s through the 1960s, and he transitioned to older roles in his later years and appeared in a number of memorable movies. Some of his movies include: To Kill A Mockingbird (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Cape Fear, 12 O'Clock High (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Roman Holiday, The Guns of Navarone, The Omen, The Boys from Brazil, Gentleman's Agreement (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Yearling (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Keys of the Kingdom (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and scores of others! He passed away in 2003 at the age of 87. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Gregory Peck! Note that this still is a key book still, printed on a deluxe heavyweight paper stock. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic. Someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the top of the still. Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahoney Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Condition: very good to fine. The top 1" was neatly trimmed off (see above). Otherwise, the still is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
