An Undated (probably 1960s) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Folded Military One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) House of Horrors (released in Australia as "The Sinister Shadow"), the 1946 Jean Yarbrough Universal horror thriller ("Meet the Creeper!") starring Bill Goodwin, Robert Lowery, Virginia Grey, Martin Kosleck, Alan Napier, Joan Fulton, Rondo Hatton ("as The Creeper"), and Byron Foulger. Note that Rondo Hatton was afflicted with acromegaly, which is a chronic disease marked by enlargement of the bones of the extremities, face, and jaw. Hollywood saw in Hatton the chance to make money by exploiting the way the disease had distorted his features, and for several years prior to his death, he was a villain in several Universal horror movies. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a military one-sheet. Military one-sheets were printed at the same time as the regular U.S. one-sheets. They were made to be used on U.S. military installations. Sometimes the poster has small writing at the bottom that says "For Distribution and Use at U.S. Military Establishments Only", and sometimes they just have "Litho in U.S.A." in small letters in the lower right.
