An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Target Earth, the 1954 Sherman A. Rose science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("Raw Panic the screen never dared to reveal!"; "You'll be paralyzed with fear... By an incredible spectacle man has never seen before!") starring Richard Denning, Kathleen Crowley, Virginia Grey, Richard Reeves, Robert Roark (billed as "Featuring Robert Roark"), and Steve Calvert (in an uncredited role as the man in the gorilla suit AND as a robot!). Note that in 1948, Steve Calvert bought Ray 'Crash' Corrigan's gorilla costume, which Corrigan had been using in movies since at least 1932. He appeared in 12 movies between 1948 and 1958 as a gorilla wearing Corrigan's costume!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that the last time we auctioned an example of this poster it sold for $553!

Condition: good to very good. The poster has pinholes in the upper corners and well as two tape stains in the upper blank corners. There is a somewhat jagged tear at upper center (see our image). There is a small "wave-shaped" tear in the center of the left half of the center horizontal fold (in the art of the buildings). There is tiny paper loss in the lower crossfold. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a pretty simple linenbacking the poster will look great!
