These are photos that were collected by a friend of Mr. Cody's and most have descriptions of what is on the front handwritten on the back. Also, there is a photocopy of a letter from 1983 in which Ronald Reagan (then President) congratulated Iron Eyes on getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (of course, this is ironic, since at the time most people believed him to be Native American; see below). Of course, Iron Eyes Cody was an actor from the 1910s to the 1980s. Though he was of Italian descent, he lived and worked as a Native American Indian for his entire life. He is well-remembered as the man who sheds a tear in the "Keep America Beautiful" ads of the 1970s and 1980s and some of his movie roles include: El Condor, A Man Called Horse, and Son of Paleface. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1960s to the 1980s. Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades Titles included:
