Ireland is Waiting to Welcome You!, the 1950s (possibly 1955) Irish travel poster ("Land of legend") encouraging people to visit Ireland, and featuring Muriel Brandt art of the Irish countryside and ancient ruins. Note that this poster was issued by Fogra Failte, which handled publicity for An Bord Failte (formerly known as the Irish Tourist Board).

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had small paper loss scattered around the edges, with a 3" tear in the top blank border that solely extended into the blank background. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
