eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 5b036 BACHELOR OF ARTS TC 1934 art of Tom Brown playing banjo for pretty Anita Louise, rare! Date Sold 3/20/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Bachelor of Arts, the 1934 Louis King college university romantic inheritance melodrama ("They love to learn - when they're learning about love"; "From the novel by John Erskine"; about a rich college student who has no ambition, so his girlfriend conspires with his father to convince him that his inheritance has been lost, so that he will become ambitious, and it works!) starring Tom Brown, Anita Louise, Henry B. Walthall, Mae Marsh, Arline Judge, and Stepin Fetchit. Note that Stepin Fetchit was billed last on the posters, but his name was printed much larger than the other co-stars, indicating that he was quite popular at that time. It was very unusual for black supporting performers to get any billing at this time, and yet we have seen the pressbook for this movie, and it includes an ad for a special one-sheet that solely shows Stepin Fetchit! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this title card is extremely rare. We have never auctioned it before! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: poor. The card is heavily stained throughout. Please look closely at our super-sized images before placing a bid on this card. Learn More about condition grades
