An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Penrod's Double Trouble, the 1938 Lewis Seiler juvenile mistaken identity family relationship comedy ("Based on the Penrod stories by Booth Tarkington"; about two friends who look so much alike that even their own families can't tell them apart, not surprising since they are played by identical twins!) starring Billy Mauch (in the title role as Penrod), Bobby Mauch (billed with his brother as "The Mauch Twins Billy and Bobby"), Dick Purcell, Gene Lockhart, and Kathleen Lockhart NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds. There was a series of tiny horizontal tears down the entire vertical foldline, and a 2" vertical tear in the top foldline 4" to the left of the top crossfold. There was a semi-circular tear in the center of the forehead of the image at top center. There was some minor wear on the other foldlines and some minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and the above defects are not really noticeable or distracting.
