The Spirit of War Camp Community Service, the 1918 U.S. World War I (WWI) Home Front poster ("United War Work Campaign "; "War Camp Community Service"; "A club dinner"; "Songs of today & yesterday"; "Home hospitality"; "Invitations to homes and entertainments") encouraging people to help with the war efforts, and featuring an image of sailors being served meals and entertained (no doubt one of the service organizations like the Rotary Club). Servicemen on leave would not always get to go home, and they absolutely appreciated a real "home cooked meal" and more!

Condition: fair to good. The poster has really substantial creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges (see our image).
