An Unfolded Travel Poster (measures 25" x 40" [64 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) TWA: India, the 1950s - 1960s (see below) airline airplane aviation travel poster ("Fly TWA") encouraging people to use TWA (Trans World Airlines) when traveling to India. Note that this poster features David Klein artwork of a bejeweled elephant. As was common with travel posters, there are multiple versions of this poster which have the same Klein artwork, but feature a different airplane. The 1950s version shows a Lockheed Constellation propeller-driven aircraft, while the 1960s version shows the outline of a jet. Artist: David Klein Important Added Info: Note that we have auctioned only three examples of this travel poster and they have sold for as much as $980! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has pinholes and creases around the edges with a few tiny tears. This is some tape staining in the upper right and upper left corners (the tape was not put there for any restoration purpose) and there are a few light creases scattered in various areas.
