Tarzan is a fictional character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs in 1912. Tarzan first appeared in the novel Tarzan of the Apes (magazine publication in 1912 and book publication in 1914). He is depicted as a feral child raised in the African jungles by the great apes who later experiences civilization only to largely reject it and return to the wild as a heroic adventurer. The character has appeared in practically every form of media, including at least 100 movies starting in 1914, plus comic books, comic strips, TV shows, and much more! Note that the items in this lot are from the 1940s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Condition: fair.
