An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) The Astounding She Monster (released outside the U.S. as "The Mysterious Invader"), the 1958 Ronnie Ashcroft AIP science fiction (sci-fi) horror thriller ("A creature from beyond the stars Evil... Beautiful... Deadly...!"; "Story and Screenplay by Frank Hall"; about a gang of crooks who kidnap a beautiful heiress, but then they come in contact with an equally beautiful female alien who has crash landed, but she is constantly giving off radium, killing many who come in contact with her) starring Robert Clarke, Kenne Duncan, Marilyn Harvey, Jeanne Tatum, Shirley Kilpatrick (in the title role as the "She-Monster"), and Ewing Brown NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Albert Kallis Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded twice (once horizontally and once vertically) right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded copy of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970! Condition: good. there are scuffs throughout the entire poster, but they are much more noticeable in the solid black areas the poster was originally unfolded, but there is a light vertical crease down the center and a slightly diagonal crease down the right edge of the poster, just entering the top right corner of the image background; there are eight areas of tape staining around the edges of the poster; there are many small tears, creases, and smudges around the edges of the poster; there are pinholes in the corners. I do not know to what degree the scuffing throughout this poster can be restored. It is possible that it would require much paint restoration, but I cannot say for sure. But please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its very clear defects, or are willing to pay to have them professionally restored. Learn More about condition grades
