the double-bill release ("2 shock hits... back to Jolt you as never before!") of Girls in the Night, the 1953 Jack Arnold crime prostitution thriller ("The Shock-Story of the Big City's Delinquent Daughters!"; "The Tense, Terrifying Truth About The BIG CITY'S Delinquent Daughters!") starring Joyce Holden, Harvey Lembeck, Glenda Farrell, and Glen Roberts AND City Across the River, the 1949 Maxwell Shane bad teens crime thriller (adapted by Irving Shulman from his novel "The Amboy Dukes") starring Stephen McNally, Thelma Ritter, Luis Van Rooten, Jeff Corey, Tony Curtis (very young in this role!; this is the first movie in which he was credited!), and Richard Jaeckel.
