Can you dig it?"; about a maid who tries to provide for her six children in Harlem while on welfare) starring James Earl Jones, Diahann Carroll (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Claudine), Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Tamu Blackwell, and David Kruger
