The buyer of that poster had it linenbacked and has now reconsigned it to us, so this is still the only example we have ever auctioned! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was never folded. It had many smudges and scuffs scattered throughout, with some creases and tears around the edges, and paper loss in the bottom right blank corner. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
