An Original 1955 Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Viaggio in Italia (released in the U.S. in 1955 as "Strangers"), the 1953 Roberto Rossellini Italian unhappy-married-couple romantic melodrama (about an unhappily married couple who go on a trip to Italy, and they find that it drives them even further apart) starring Ingrid Bergman, George Sanders, Anna Proclemer, Marie Mauban, Paul Muller, Leslie Daniels, and Natalia Ray. Note that this movie was unsuccessful when it was released in 1953, but in the 1960s, French critics proclaimed it a masterpiece! Finally, note that this movie was made during the period (1950-1955) when Bergman was living in exile from the U.S., because of her affair with Rossellini that produced a child, after which she moved to Italy with him and he directed her in several movies.
