A Woman - Trying to escape her future!" "'Don't try to get rid of me for another woman... ...it won't work!"'; based on the novel 'Build My Gallows High' by Daniel Mainwaring; a great story of a private investigator who is hired by a gangster to find his missing mistress, and he does so, but then he falls for her, and starts a romance with her, even though he knows he is likely signing his death warrant) starring Robert Mitchum, Jane Greer, Kirk Douglas (in his third movie role!), Rhonda Fleming, Richard Webb, Steve Brodie, Dickie Moore, Virginia Huston, Paul Valentine, and Ken Niles NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that after Kirk Douglas achieved great success in the early 1950s, this classic film noir movie was re-released to theaters in 1953, and Kirk Douglas was given deservedly equal billing to the other three stars in the credits. However, for the lobby card set, the scenes from the original set were re-used, so Douglas still only appears in one of the cards (and this is that card!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fine. Note that this lobby card is in excellent condition and is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card! The new owner of this card will find it hard to believe that the card was not recently created, but we assure you it is 100% original from 1953, even though it has survived so amazingly well!
