An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm, the 1932 Alfred Santell melodrama ("Based on play by Kate Douglas Wiggin and Charlotte Thompson"; an adaptation by of this classic 1909 children's play, which itself was based on the 1903 novel by Wiggin; about an orphan teen who goes to live with her wealthy mean spinster aunts, and she eventually wins them over with her boundless optimism) starring Marian Nixon (in the title role as Rebecca), Ralph Bellamy, Mae Marsh, Louise Closser Hale, and Alan Hale Sr. Note that this was a remake of the 1917 Mary Pickford silent version, and it was remade again in 1938 with Shirley Temple.

Condition: very good. There are some faint creases and tiny bits of surface paper loss in the upper left background area, but the still is otherwise in pretty good condition.
