Note that this poster features wild art by Rick Griffin. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Rick Griffin Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this music poster (BG-105), with great Rick Griffin flying eyeball art! Also, note that this poster is the very desirable and ultra-rare first printing, printed before the shows to sell tickets, and it can be easily distinguished from the second printing (which has the number "10" before the word "tickets" in the lower left corner). We have seen reported results from another auction house of an example in nice condition auctioning for $14,375, and a heavily restored example for $5,280. Because of the poster's wonderful image, there was not only a second printing, but a third, fourth, fifth, and sixth printing. But the poster offered here is definitely the ultra rare very first printing that is one of the most desirable rock 'n' roll posters there are! Also note that while this could conceivably be rolled, we would hate to give it any chance to get creased at all, so we will send it in a large flat package that measures 16" x 24". Please bear that extra shipping cost in mind BEFORE placing a bid on this! Condition: very good. There is a pinhole in each corner and very minor smudges in the red background areas.
