An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded German Movie Poster (measures 54 3/4" x 85 1/2" [139 x 217 cm]) (Learn More)

Pauline, the 1914 Henry Etievant German silent Vitascope comedy short starring Gertrud Arnold (in the title role as Pauline), Alice Hechy, Einar Linden, and Fred Sauer. Note that we could find little information about this comedy short. Star Gertrud Arnold played Queen Ute in both of Fritz Lang's Siegfried movies. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Artist: Dely
Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two different examples of this German poster from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this third German poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this German movie! There are very few German movie posters from before World War II in existence (because of the massive paper shortages in Germany during World War II), and most of those few are in museums. Also note that this German poster was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap.

Condition: fair to good. The poster has pinholes around the edges and some light stains scattered throughout. It has some tears and tiny paper loss on parts of folds and parts of the borders. Please bear all this in mind before bidding on this very rare poster.
