Note that Roy Rogers first appeared under that name in 1938 in Under Western Stars, and he was an immediate giant hit, and he made many movies over the next couple of years, and this one has one of the best images of Roy of any of the 1930s movies he appeared in! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds, with some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds. It had a slightly diagonal crease above the left half of the top fold and some creases along parts of some folds, with a few tears in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster displays pretty well, but after it was backed, it was slightly roughly handled, and there are now two horizontal creases in the top left background area, both in the linen and in the poster itself, but they are not very noticeable or distracting.
