An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Karen Black was an actress from the 1960s to the 2010s. She is likely best remembered for having crossed eyes, and for her classic role opposite Jack Nicholson in Five Easy Pieces (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film). Some of her movies include: Nashville, Family Plot, Easy Rider, Portnoy's Complaint, Airport 1975, and The Player. She passed away in 2013 at the age of 74. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Karen Black! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to be authentic. Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Finally, note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that it WAS printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So it is an original still from , but it was printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
