Applause, the 1970 - 1972 Broadway musical stage play ("A new musical"; "based on the film 'All About Eve' and the original story by Marry Orr") starring Lauren Bacall, Len Cariou, Robert Mandan, Gwyda Donhowe, Brandon Maggart, Arlene Dahl, and Eleanor Parker. Note that this was a musical play that was based on the classic 1950 non-musical movie, "All About Eve", starring Bette Davis and Anne Baxter.
