With the odds against them they lived through the greatest fear of daring and courage ever recorded!") featuring Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd, Clair D. Alexander, Brent Blachen, George H. Black, and Quin A. Blackburn

Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet has had all of its borders trimmed and now measures 26" x 39 1/2". Please do not bid on this poster thinking it is 27" x 41". Note that this is one of a group of five Australian one-sheets, five U.S. one-sheets, and ten Australian "long" daybills, that were found under a floor in a house in Australia! All of the posters have significant damage, but of course, all of these rare posters could be restored by a talented restorer. Please look VERY closely at our "super sized" images of these twenty posters BEFORE you place a bid on any of them! Also note that while these posters were folded at one time, they have laid flat for many years, and they will be sent rolled in tubes.
