An Original Vintage Theatrical Color 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

The Man from Dakota, the 1940 Leslie Fenton historical Civil War military romantic melodrama (based on the novel 'Arouse and Beware' by MacKinlay Kantor; about two Union soldiers who escape from a Confederate prison and are helped by a pretty Russian refugee to return home with valuable secrets) starring Wallace Beery, John Howard, Dolores Del Rio (as a Russian refugee, who oddly has a Mexican accent!), Donald Meek, and Robert Barrat. Apparently the movie was originally going to be titled after the source novel "Arouse and Beware", but they switched to "The Man from Dakota" at the last minute, although it was released under the other title in England.

Important Added Info: Note that this still has an image of artwork created specifically for this movie! Such stills are far more rare than stills which show scenes from the movie!

Condition: very good to fine. The still only has a few minor defects in the blank borders.
