An Original 1948 (from the first release of this movie in Denmark) Vintage Theatrical Danish Movie Program (measures 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" [14 x 19 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More) Laura, the classic 1944 Otto Preminger (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) romantic love triangle crime film noir ("The story of a love that became the most fearful thing that ever happened to a woman!"; "Adapted from the novel by Vera Caspery"; about a detective investigating the death of a gorgeous woman, and he wishes he could have known her, and then it turns out she's not dead after all!) starring Gene Tierney (in the title role as Laura Hunt), Dana Andrews, Clifton Webb (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Vincent Price, Judith Anderson, and Lane Chandler NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that most Danish programs from after around 1948 measured approximately 4 3/4" x 6". However, most of the ones from before that time were a larger size (usually around 5 3/4" x 8") and usually had a lot more pages than those from after 1948 (however, some of the ones made during World War II are a smaller size and have few pages, no doubt due to paper shortages). In addition, most of the "pre-War" Danish programs are FAR more rare than programs from after World War II, no doubt because they were destroyed during the huge paper shortages during World War II.
