What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. Many years ago, it was mounted onto a thin linen with no excess. It is difficult to say whether its defects were acquired before or after it was backed, but it now has many small tears around the edges. It also has some light brown stains scattered on the back of the bottom of the thin linen, with a few in the rest of the linen. If I owned this cool poster, I would surely immediately have it removed from the old linen and properly backed, but bear this in mind before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
