The Crooked Circle, the 1932 H. Bruce Humberstone amateur detective haunted house crime horror mystery comedy ("You'll shiver, shudder, shake..... and shout with laughter!"; based on a story by Ralph Spence, the author of "The Gorilla"; about a group of amateur detectives dedicated to combating a gang of criminals; the criminals vow to haunt and eliminate one of the detectives by using a spooky house as their setting!) starring Ben Lyon, Zasu Pitts, James Gleason, Irene Purcell, C. Henry Gordon, Raymond Hatton, and Roscoe Karns
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned this style A poster in all our years of auctioning, and we have only auctioned smaller items such as lobby cards, stills, and glass slides, but other than a circa 1940s re-release one-sheet for the film we have auctioned NO other posters for it whatsoever (but we ARE auctioning a similarly ultra rare style B poster for this movie in a separate auction!)

Condition: fair to good. Someone used a blue crayon to mark the star's face at left and portions of the artwork surrounding him, including the skelton-like figure (see our image). There is a large censor stamp at upper right (see our image). After proper restoration the rare poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
