Hopalong Cassidy (also Hop-along Cassidy) is a fictional cowboy hero created in 1904 by Clarence E. Mulford, who wrote several popular short-stories and novels. The character was later adapted to movies and was played by actor William Boyd. Hopalong Cassidy is also portrayed in books, comics, novels, radio, as well as a successful TV series (the first network Western series!). Note that the items in this lot are from the 1950s.
