No dungeon could hold him!"; "The challenge is hurled from the ramparts! He'll fight to the death for the love of his life!"; "No adventures so stirring since screen adventure began!"; "Written by Waldo Salt") starring Burt Lancaster ("performing actual feats of daring unmatched by any star"), Virginia Mayo, Robert Douglas, Aline MacMahon, Frank Allenby, and Nick Cravat NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases and small tears on just a few parts of some foldlines, and some minor border defects. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but at some point after the poster was backed, it was roughly handled, and there is now a horizontal crease in the left half of the top of the poster, 2" from the top edge, running across the very top of the word "BURT" (it is not very distracting, but it is noticeable).
