Date Sold 7/8/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) The Duncan Sisters (Rosetta & Vivian Duncan), who were stage and screen actresses from the 1920s to the 1930s. Some of their movies include: Topsy and Eva (an adaptation of sorts of Harriet Beecher Stowe's classic "Uncle Tom's Cabin"), It's a Great Life, and Surprise. Rosetta passed away in 1959 at the age of 65, and Vivian passed away in 1986 at the age of 89. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Vivian Duncan AND Rosetta Duncan! It appears that Rosetta wrote the long inscription at right, signing "The Duncan Sisters", and that her sister Vivian added her name in the bottom left corner (see our image). Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good.
