Artist: Howard Terpning
Important Added Info: Note that "pre-awards" one-sheets have a tagline at the top (in a black box) that reads "The happiest sound in all the world". While still in continuous first release and after it won 5 Academy Awards in 1965, new one-sheets were printed and that top tagline was replaced with "Winner of 5 Academy Awards Including The 'Best Picture Of Year'". Some pre-awards one-sheets credit Todd-AO (below the guitar and above "Color by Deluxe"), and others do not. The ones that do not were created for theaters that could not show the 70mm Todd-AO version. The poster offered here is the pre-Awards one-sheet with the Todd-AO credit!

Condition: good to very good. The poster has pinholes around the edges and several of them located in the upper corners and at lower right are backed by restoration tape. There is small separation and tiny paper loss at the crossfold and upper edge of the vertical foldline and those are backed by the same tape as well. A few of the tiny pinholes at left and right center slightly extend into the image area. There is small blank border loss in the upper left and center edge and at lower left. The defects mostly affect the edges or areas of blank paper, and after a relatively simple linenbacking the pre-awards (see above) one-sheet will display well.
