An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Rage in Heaven, the 1941 W.S. Van Dyke & Robert B. Sinclair romantic love triangle crime thriller ("New Triumph by the Author of 'Goodbye, Mr. Chips!'"; "Screenplay by Christopher Isherwood and Robert Thoeren"; "Based on the novel by James Hilton"; a strange story of a secretary to a rich woman; she starts going out with the woman's son, who previously was in a mental institution; he encourages her to go out with his friend, and yet he still marries her, and then he takes over his deceased father's business and starts running it into the ground, apparently slipping into insanity) starring Robert Montgomery, Ingrid Bergman, George Sanders, Lucile Watson, and Oscar Homolka. Note that Ingrid Bergman said that Robert Montgomery did not want to make this movie, but that MGM ordered him to, and that he purposely gave a poor performance, and that George Sanders was completely disinterested in the movie and spent most of his time between scenes sleeping! Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"! Learn More about condition grades
