The poster was displayed and the oranges in the poster turned to a yellow color. It also had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period) and it had many smudges and scuffs in the solid black areas. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer did a pretty good job, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects, especially because the restorer did not attempt to address the color change.
