In June 1911, Fabre Line steamships began trans-Atlantic service to India Point in Providence, Rhode Island, and between 1912 and 1913, the company brought almost 12,000 (mostly Italian and Portuguese) immigrants to Providence's Lonsdale Dock. Artist: J. Tonelli Important Added Info: Note that this poster has wonderful J. Tonelli art of a French ship in the middle of an arrow which has a French flag on the tail end and a United States flag at the point of destination! Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has some small tears, slight darkening, and tiny paper loss in the edges of the blank borders. It has a faint strip of darkening in a diagonal in the top right corner (see our image).
