The Fabre Line (or Compagnie Francaise de Navigation a Vapeur Cyprien Fabre & Compagnie) was a French shipping line formed in 1881. In June 1911, Fabre Line steamships began trans-Atlantic service to India Point in Providence, Rhode Island, and between 1912 and 1913, the company brought almost 12,000 (mostly Italian and Portuguese) immigrants to Providence's Lonsdale Dock.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster has wonderful J. Tonelli art of a French ship in the middle of an arrow which has a French flag on the tail end and a United States flag at the point of destination!

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has some small tears, slight darkening, and tiny paper loss in the edges of the blank borders. It has a faint strip of darkening in a diagonal in the top right corner (see our image). Otherwise, the poster is in nice condition!
