Vitaphone singing picture"; "Warner Bros. Spectacular Singing Success"; "Based on story by Otto Harbach, Lawrence Schwab, Oscar Hammerstein 2nd, Frank Mandel") starring John Boles (in a dual role), Carlotta King, Louise Fazenda, Myrna Loy, and Johnny Arthur. Note that there was a remake of this in 1944 with Dennis Morgan and Irene Manning, and another remake in 1953 with Gordon MacRae and Kathryn Grayson. There was a German movie by this name in 1939, but it was unrelated. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fair to good. There is a slightly diagonal vertical crack down the center of the slide, but fortunately it entirely misses the image of Myrna Loy.
