Horrifying!"; "The greatest fear figures in screen history... all in Universal's New cavalcade of horror!"; the third Universal "Frankenstein" movie) starring Basil Rathbone (in the title role as the original Dr. Frankenstein's son), Boris Karloff (in the title role as the Frankenstein monster), Bela Lugosi (as Ygor), Lionel Atwill, Josephine Hutchinson, and Donnie Dunagan (as Peter von Frankenstein) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this mini window card! It has an extremely similar image to that of the first release one-sheet, except that the Universal logo is not in the same place and the bottom strip of credits are blue on this mini window card, while they were black on the one-sheet. Obviously, first release movie posters from this classic Universal Frankenstein movie are beyond expensive, and this mini window card is a wonderful way to have a first release 1939 poster on your wall (the mini window card has a printed copyright of 1938, but that is because it was prepared at the end of 1938, although the movie did not open until January 1939). Condition: very good. Someone neatly trimmed off most of the blank top (no doubt to put it in a frame). The card has a pair of staple holes at the top (to the right of the monster's head) and a 1/2" tear near the middle of the right border, extending into the background. It has a few other tiny staple holes and very minor border defects but is otherwise in nice condition and will display wonderfully on the new owner's wall. Learn More about condition grades
