She started in 1914 when she was 31, but she was very small and child-like, and she had no trouble passing for a teenager! She was extremely popular in the late 1910s, but she hated acting, and she planned to retire "at the top". In 1921, she was voted the favorite female actress by the Quigley poll, and she promptly retired! Some of her movies include: Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch, Snow White, and Come Out of the Kitchen.
