An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Autographed Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14 1/4" x 17 1/4" [36 x 44 cm]) (Learn More) The Bride Comes Home, the 1935 Wesley Ruggles romantic love triangle comedy ("They're bringing a new kind of love to you!", "Hints on how to fight your way to the altar... by a girl who ought to know!"; about a pair of men who want to start a magazine, and they hire a well known socialite who is broke to help them start it, but soon they are both more interested in her than in the magazine) starring Claudette Colbert, Fred MacMurray, Robert Young, William Collier Sr., and Donald Meek NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by Fred MacMurray! Our consignor became friendly with Mr. MacMurray (and his wife, June Haver) in the late 1980s, and he visited with them, and Mr. MacMurray kindly signed this card for him in person! He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are sure the signature is authentic. Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14 1/4" x 17 1/4" [36 x 44 cm]. Finally, note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good.
