Gibson in 1931 after initially being a"mysterious radio narrator" for the Detective Story Hour. The Shadow went on to be the subject of a pulp series and radio drama that debuted in 1937. The Shadow is also known for the famous saying, "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!". Note that the items in this lot are from the 1960s to the 1970s.
