He was the rare case of an older not attractive actor who became a giant star, even more impressive, because he held onto his stardom from the 1920s into the mid 1930s, and in some cases, he remade some of his biggest silent hits as sound movies! Some of his movies include: The Working Man, The Millionaire, The Tunnel, Voltaire, Disraeli (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Green Goddess (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and The Man Who Played God.
