Important Added Info: Note that this script is the revised shooting draft from May 5, 1967 and the screenplay was written by Michael Wilson. Also note that there are a multitude of different colored revision pages from many different dates (apparently this script was revised over and over, which must have driven the actors crazy!). Note that there are two fascinating things about this script. One is that one of the most famous lines from the movie, "Take your stinking paws off me, you damn dirty ape!", was "Get away from me, you dirty ape!" in this script, and it is on a page that was revised on June 9, so even at that late date, they still hadn't come up with this wonderful line that was so memorable to everyone who watched it. Also, the most famous line, at the very end, when Heston says "You maniacs! You blew it up! Damn you!", is also not in this script! What it says here is simply "My God" and it is on a revision page from 7/27, so it is even later than the above revision, and they still didn't have that great ending line!
