Walter Ruben World War I (WWI) fighter pilot airplane aviation thriller ("A blazing tale of clash and combat... the drama of a woman's heroic battle for a burned-out soul"; "From the story by John Monk Saunders, author of 'Wings' and 'The Dawn Patrol'"; about a sculptor who doesn't believe in fighting, but his girlfriend shames him into joining the army, and he becomes a pilot, and undergoes a severe personality shift, for good and bad) starring Richard Dix, Elizabeth Allan, Ralph Bellamy, Theodore Newton, Joe Sauers, Nella Walker, and William Cagney (uncredited in his first movie role!)
