The Creeper stalks to kill!"; "The master minds tackle the master crimes!"; "Marked for a sudden and violent death!"; "A girl risked everything for it!"; "20 men lost their lives for it!"; "Who was the Creeper?"; "Based on 'The Six Napoleons' by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle") starring Basil Rathbone (as Sherlock Holmes), Nigel Bruce (as Doctor Watson), Evelyn Ankers, Dennis Hoey (as Inspector Lestrade), Miles Mander, Mary Gordon, and Rondo Hatton (as The Creeper). Click on Rondo Hatton's name to learn more about this actor, who suffered from acromegaly, which distorted his features (but Universal saw this as a good thing, because they could cast him as a "monster" without any makeup!). The poster has pinholes in each corner and some are torn or enlarged due to rough removal (mainly at upper left as well as upper and lower right.) There is a jagged approximately 4" tear at upper left in portions of Rathbone's hair and left ear with some paper loss in those areas (some of the paper remains but had curled tightly on back of the poster). There is a smaller 1" tear at upper right in portions of the blank border and green background, also with some paper loss. There is small separation in the left edge of the center horizontal fold and in the upper crossfold (which has some tiny paper loss) and there is small blank border loss at lower center. It is otherwise in pretty good condition and after a linenbacking with some restoration to the above-mentioned areas the poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
