An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) I Married a Woman, the 1958 Hal Kanter romantic comedy ("What happens to the mouse when the cheesecake bites back?"; "'I Married a Woman' [and they're the best kind!]"; an attempt to star the number one English sex symbol Diana Dors in a Marilyn Monroe-like sex comedy opposite henpecked husband George Gobel) starring George Gobel ("in the happy story of a guy who has but one aim in life..."), Diana Dors ("as his favorite target..."), Adolphe Menjou, Jessie Royce Landis, Nita Talbot, William Redfield, Steve Dunne, and John Wayne (in an unbilled cameo role as himself!). Note that this movie began filming in 1956, but the movie was not released until 1958! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and pretty minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. Unfortunately, after the poster was backed, it received water staining and rough creases in the top left corner of both the poster and the linen (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
