Note that after the success of the 1974 film Emmanuelle, many authorized sequels were created. The success also spawned many "knock-off" Emmanuelle films, which included the name Emmanuelle or its variants in their titles for exploitative reasons, but were not connected to the original series. Finally, note that this series of movies starring Sylvia Kristel was based on the book written in 1959 by Emmanuelle Arsan, although some people think that her husband, Louis-Jacques Rollet-Andriane, actually wrote the book. The photobustas were folded across or down the middle, and there are some creases along that fold. They have some edge defects and some creases scattered in various areas.
