An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Coward, the 1927 Alfred Raboch silent romantic melodrama ("He was risking his life for the man who had ruined him."; "Terrific melodrama of weak souls and strong!"; "From the powerful story by Arthur Stringer"; the age old story of a man who gets in a fight over a girl, and is beaten badly, and he goes off to the North Woods and becomes an apprentice to a fur trapper, and that makes a strapping man of him, and he comes back and beats up his rival and wins his girl back) starring Warner Baxter, Sharon Lynn, Freeman Wood, Raoul Paoli, and Byron Douglas. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Note that Warner Baxter was born in 1889, and in the early 1920s he rose to prominence in silent movies, becoming a major star of the 1920s, while he was in his 30s. He won the Oscar for Best Actor as The Cisco Kid in "In Old Arizona" in 1929, and he remained a top star throughout the 1930s! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned four lobby cards from this movie, and we have NEVER auctioned this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine. There is tiny paper loss in the top left blank corner and a few tiny pinholes in the other corners and some faint smudges around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition.
