(literally translates to "Capitalist Liberation...!"), the 1944 Dutch World War II (WWII) poster printed by the Nazi German-occupying forces to warn of what would happen if the Netherlands were liberated. This poster features M. AZ. KoekKoek art of a man being choked by an arm clothed in a sleeve decorated with the American flag. Note that the printing at the bottom indicates that it was intended to be displayed from July 12th to August 22nd. Much of the southern area of the country was liberated in the 2nd half of 1944, while the north and west areas remained occupied until 1945. Artist: M. AZ. KoekKoek Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster has slight discoloration scattered in some areas from exposure to moisture (more so at upper left and in portions of the edges and folds). Some of the moisture caused tiny bits of paper loss at upper center and there are a few tape repairs on back.
