An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Edward Everett Horton was a stage actor for 17 years, and he was 36 years old when he became a movie actor in the 1920s. He started with leading roles, but he soon became one of Hollywood's foremost character actors. He was best known for his work in Arsenic and Old Lace, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, Top Hat, Lost Horizon, Holiday, Trouble in Paradise, Pocketful of Miracles, and many others. He had a second career many years later doing voiceovers, including many on TV's "The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle". Horton passed away in 1970 at the age of 84.
Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Edward Everett Horton! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm].

Our consignor is a very longtime collector of movie paper who purchased this item years ago, and it was signed, but he doesn't know how the signature was obtained, and he (and we) believe it is likely that the autograph is authentic.

Condition: good to very good. There are many faint horizontal creases scattered across the still, with one more noticeable crease across the lower third of the still, but none of them are very noticeable except when the still is tilted to the light. The still was attached to an album with glue on the back of the top and bottom, and there is paper residue on the back of those areas.
