Adapted from the Superman radio program."; based on the famous DC Comics comic book character) starring Kirk Alyn (in the title role as Superman/Clark Kent), Lyle Talbot (in the title role as Lex Luthor/The Atom Man), Noel Neill (who later repeated her role as Lois Lane in the TV series, after Phyllis Coates left the show), Tommy Bond (as Jimmy Olsen), Pierre Watkin (as Perry White), and Terry Frost. Note that this was the second Superman serial (the first was simply titled "Superman", and was released in 1948, with the same actors as in this serial). Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been personally autographed (signed) by THREE people: Kirk Alyn, Noel Neill, AND Tommy Bond (all three stars added their character names)! This card (and 33 others, which we are auctioning in 33 separate auctions) was consigned to us from the estate of a very longtime lobby card collector, who, for many years, sought out stars at shows and conventions, and he would bring cards from his collection to have them sign. Because they were obtained in person, he does not have any "certificates of authenticity", but we think it is certain that all of the autographs on these cards are authentic, but bear in mind that it does not come with a certificate. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good to very good. The card was used in another country, and it has a stamp in the middle right, but is otherwise in nice condition.
