An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Rudy Ray Moore was a black African American musician, comedian, and actor from the 1950s to the 2000s. He appeared in several of the most outrageous "blaxploitation" movies of the 1970s, including: Dolemite, The Human Tornado, and Disco Godfather. He passed away in 2008 at the age of 81. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Rudy Ray Moore! Our consignor obtained this autograph in person at a Chiller Theatre show (and he told Mr. Moore that he taught a history of film class, and Mr. Moore autographed it to the class). Also, our consignor does not know of any other autograph session by Mr. Moore, and autographs from him seem to be rare (we have only seen one before). Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall!
